Material: Smooth and soft to the touch. It feels like silk, but I can't say for sure, I'm sorry. I had two, but one had been used. This one is probably a beautiful item, almost unused. There is a faint stain in one place, but I think it's due to aging. It's barely noticeable. Overall, it's clean. The second one became clean after washing, so I'll include it as well. However, the box has stains and dirt due to aging (photo 4). This was passed down to me from my mother, and my father bought it about 20 years ago as part of a tea ceremony set. I'm a tea ceremony novice, so I don't know what it's used for, please judge from the photos.
