This is a Montblanc item, specifically the Meisterstück Solitaire line, and a rare find: the "Solitaire Le Grand Barley Sterling Silver 18K Fountain Pen" (Model Number: 1466). This is a rare, high-end fountain pen with a sterling silver body. It's in super-mint condition, which is hard to come by. This item is currently difficult to obtain, so please consider it.
The serial number, "Metal 2," and "Germany" are inscribed on the ring at the base of the clip. All photos posted are taken with my cell phone of the actual item. Rest assured, it is made by Montblanc and made in Germany.
