This item was purchased from a shop that sells pottery made by individual artists. It has a pinhole from the time of purchase. It has a matte finish with a slightly glossy texture and an elegant color. I've used it as a rice bowl or soup bowl, but it's a slightly larger size, so it seems versatile and good for dishes with sauce, soups with lots of ingredients, and small donburi bowls.
