French Army M38 Motorcycle Jacket This is a 1st model, so-called, from the 30s-40s, featuring flat wooden buttons. The color is khaki, typical of the early models. It has a large, rounded, distinctive collar and raglan sleeves. The collar has a chin strap, which not only provides wind protection but also looks great when the collar is raised. I hope those who get this jacket will wear it with the collar up. One of the buttons has a crack. Other than that, it's in clean condition for a vintage piece nearly 100 years old. There are few of these jackets remaining, and most are large sizes, but this one is a rare M size, suitable for Japanese people.
