This is "Aitaishikki" (Indigo Lacquerware), a traditional craft from Kurume, Fukuoka. Aitaishikki: A traditional craft made by layering lacquer on a bamboo mesh. The tray seems to have been used several times, and there are fine scratches that are difficult to see in the photos. They are only slightly visible depending on how the light hits them, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. There is a small chip on the sweet dish. Please check the last photo.
