"COWBOY KATE & OTHER STORIES" is perhaps the first artistic monochrome photography book of the 20th century, employing black and white photography as a means of expression and image design. The work, which had a great influence and sold approximately 100,000 copies worldwide, won the Prix Nadar in France in 1964. The front features a photo of Kate, which is symbolic of "COWBOY KATE & OTHER STORIES." The back print features a photo capturing the moment a gun is fired.
