This is a complete set of protective gear that I used for matches when I was in high school. I'm 30 years old and 172cm tall, and I tried it on, and it works perfectly fine. The men (face guard) strings are not included. The menchika (face guard padding) is included as a bonus. The inside of the men has quite a bit of discoloration from sweat. The shinai (bamboo sword) bag is included, but the shinai itself is not. I had it professionally cleaned and stored it. I think it's still in good condition and can be used, so how about it for those who are starting kendo now? I think this set is a great deal. Please understand that there is embroidery of my name.
