There aren't many scratches for use, but please understand that this is a vintage item before purchasing. Please understand any unevenness in the firing. The designer is Ulla Procope. The deep blue patterns are all hand-drawn, and each one has a different expression. Production began in 1960 and ended in 2003, making it a popular vintage series. The Valencia series typically has varying thicknesses of glaze applied over the hand-painted decoration. Due to the reaction of the glaze and paint in the kiln, there are matte and more glossy areas on the glaze. There are no chips or cracks, but there are support marks on the back of the saucer and possible color transfer on the back of the cup. Please understand this before purchasing.
