I believe it was cowhide. I haven't used it much. It's leather with a nice, mottled dye. It's soft and of very good quality. The handle is wide and easy to hold. The wrinkles are likely from the original processing. I've been collecting it while taking care of the leather. The metal fittings for the chain-like pocket inside are slightly cloudy. The spoon-shaped metal fitting has some minor scratches. The base of the handle, possibly from the beginning, has a slightly loose stitch (I think it's still within a usable range). Size (due to the unusual shape, there may be slight variations): Height: Approximately 20cm, excluding the handle Width: Approximately 30cm Depth: Approximately 17cm Handle: Approximately 55cm, so you can wear it over your shoulder if you're wearing a cardigan, but it's not very balanced, so it's a more beautiful bag to hold in your hand.
