This is a patchwork coat made using vintage fabric, including katazome furoshiki (stencil-dyed wrapping cloths), yukinko (snow child pattern), egasuri (picture kasuri), and shosei-gasuri (student kasuri). I've also added sashiko stitching to the single-dye floral pattern. It has a wonderful, unique feel. Sashiko is also on the shoulder yoke on the back. Sashiko is also incorporated on the sides. The lining is made of tsumugi (pongee silk). Because it's pure silk, it feels good against the skin and is warm.
