The fabric is water-repellent, and the upper and lower spaces are completely separated (two compartments), so your belongings don't get jumbled up. Even if I forgot to close the zipper, the built-in magnetic button helped prevent my belongings from spilling out, even when I was flustered by my child's sudden movements.
