Dimensions: Approximately 33mm x 23mm ● Yakusugi Cedar Yakusugi cedar boasts a lifespan of 2,000-3,000 years, with trees over 1,000 years old being designated as Yakusugi. Due to the geology and climate of Yakushima, their growth is slow, resulting in dense annual rings and high resin content, making them resistant to decay. While current logging is prohibited, buried wood is utilized. They are favored as a symbol of longevity. Koumyou-moku (a type of grain pattern) is considered auspicious. ● Owls have long been known as the philosophers of the forest and the wise ones of the woods. They are said to have a good turning neck (representing financial stability) and are guardians of learning. They are associated with auspicious kanji such as 不苦労 (no suffering), 福籠 (lucky basket), 福来朗 (happy arrival), and 福朗 (happy and bright), and are also known as a representative of feng shui for improving financial luck. ● Onyx (Black Agate) It is said to represent unwavering belief and supports the achievement of goals.
