Its thick, mellow delay sound, produced by a fully analog circuit using BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) elements, has a character that digital delays simply cannot replicate. It's easy to make it oscillate, and increasing the feedback allows for the creation of intense psychedelic sound effects. This is a delay for players who love vintage tones, and was also used by John Mayer. I was using this until recently, and have performed a basic operational check.
