The two pieces are almost the same size. 1️⃣ This is a "Mashiko-yaki Iron Glaze Ochoko" from the Showa era. There are no cracks or chips. 2️⃣ It has a smart form and a calm iron glaze. (The actual item is a bit darker than in the photos.) When I encountered this ochoko, I thought it might be Shoji Hamada of Mashiko-yaki. Although it doesn't have Hamada's signature patterns, I felt the glaze was the same. It's a small ochoko, but it had a significant presence. 3️⃣ It's slender and sleek. The sides have subtle undulations when you look closely. The iron glaze is not uniform, with variations in shade that create a delicate landscape.
