The product we send to customers does not require sealing, but it has some water absorption. Therefore, the pot itself can be said to be breathing and alive. This is what creates the flavor as you use it. Cracks (kannyu - crazing) may appear as you use it, but this is not damage (a defect). This is the characteristic of a good Iga earthenware pot, so please understand this before purchasing. How to increase added value: Do what cannot be done with mass-produced products.
