These are shogi pieces made of thin cardboard. A semi-DIY kit. An adult cut them out, and my third-grade son wrote on them, but gave up halfway through. The backs are white. Of the nine "fu" (pawn) pieces, six have "to" (promoted pawn) written on them. The others are blank. There are occasional extra cuts, but none of the pieces are missing their pentagonal shape. This is a set of pieces only, so there is no shogi board. For the board, please draw 81 squares (9x9) on a large piece of drawing paper (two sheets of size "shi-tsugiri" joined together).
