It's difficult to tell from the photos, but the sides have fabric-covered buttons. The material looks like silk satin, but it's 100% polyester, so I bought it because I thought it would be great to wear without worrying about wrinkles. However, I have too many similar items, so I'm listing this one, which is in near-new condition. In my opinion, it would fit someone who wears a size S to M.
