I bought this unused on a flea market site and prepared it for use by thoroughly washing off the manufacturing oils, but I ended up not using it because I preferred a different spout shape. There is a circular line-shaped mark around the exterior, about 5cm from the bottom, possibly from soaking. Also, although it's hard to see, there are 3cm and 2cm scratches on the body near the lid. My personal opinion is that the whistle lid opens and closes easily (this part is often stiff on cheaper products), and the knob on the main lid is large and easy to open and close.
