This is a piccolo made of composite wood (a combination of wood and resin, similar to Grenaditte or Green Line, rather than a simple plastic tube, resulting in a sound closer to that of wood). It is an OEM product from a company that makes wooden flutes. It comes with composite wood (with a lip plate, making it very easy to play) and a head joint made of nickel silver with silver plating. It allows for smooth playing up to four octaves and is easy to use. It would also be good for outdoor use.
