I am currently sorting through inherited items. This is a large, impressive matcha tea bowl, a genuine antique, a tea utensil, and an antique ceramic piece with a vibrant, deep glaze that belonged to my grandfather, who was a collector of antiques. It appears to be quite old. A name is inscribed on the bottom. It was carefully stored on a shelf deep inside the tea room in the storehouse, so it is likely a very valuable item. The red-brown fired clay is adorned with a glossy black, burnt brown, deep moss green, vibrant khaki yellow-green, cute marble pink, pale mouse-gray, and milky white glaze that beautifully cascades like a waterfall. Furthermore, the center of the bowl has a pool of jet-black glaze, creating a stunning contrast between the inside and outside of the matcha bowl. When matcha is whisked, it is highlighted by the black interior, and when the bowl is displayed, the shifting colors and delicate atmosphere are in perfect harmony, making it a wonderful and aesthetically pleasing item. It is also quite large and imposing, so I believe you will appreciate it even more when you hold it in your hands. Size: 13cm wide, 9cm high, a large and well-balanced piece. Shipping included. ◆Regarding my grandfather's antique collection◆ My grandfather, who was an antique collector, collected these antiques during his lifetime, and they have been found in the storehouse. I would like to list some of the good items. My grandfather was a hospital director in his lifetime and owned many works, including paintings and ceramics by Living National Treasures, and he often boasted about them, so I believe they are all very good items. Neither my grandchild nor my mother are very interested in antiques, and we don't know which works are by whom or what kind of pottery they are. I don't know if the items I'm listing are Imari ware, Kutani ware, Shigaraki ware, or Seto ware. Even if they are wonderful works of art or very expensive items by Living National Treasures, I have no idea of their value.
