Ahmet Ertug, a world-renowned architectural photographer, was invited by Mikhail Piotrovsky, the director of the State Hermitage Museum, to photograph the museum, and the album was published to commemorate its 250th anniversary. Foreword by Mikhail Piotrovsky (Director of the Hermitage Museum) Commentary on the outstanding architecture of the Hermitage by Michael Forsyth and Marion Harney Printing was done using state-of-the-art offset printing equipment in Germany, with special inks from Japan. All binding was done by hand by master craftsmen in Italy. The paper used was 250gm Phoenixmotion Xantur paper from Germany, with FSC certification (mark of responsible forest management). The large-format 8 x 10 inch photographic plates by Ahmet Ertug were drum-scanned at 16 bits to achieve the highest color fidelity for printing. All technical processes were carried out under the strict supervision of Ahmet Ertug. ★All of photographer Ahmet Ertug's photo albums are large, and the production process for creating the photo albums is of the most luxurious specifications imaginable.
