There is a small black stain about the size of a fingernail on the edge of the mat, but I don't think it will bother you at all when using it with a sheet on. Inflating it with the included pillow was quite difficult, so I also purchased an air pump. I think it's better to have an air pump as a set. The ease of use was completely different. I bought it for car camping, but it didn't quite match the size of my car, so I'm selling it this time. The item itself is very good, and the sleeping comfort was as good as its reputation.
