Kibuna (yellow crucian carp) is a local toy from Utsunomiya, considered a lucky charm since the Edo period. It is said that when an epidemic broke out, people were saved after eating yellow crucian carp caught in the Tagawa River within the city. Prayers for warding off evil and good health are offered to the gods every New Year. I am selling two sets of different sizes. There is some warping on the fins, possibly due to aging. The second one starts from image 16.
