This is a Tokoname-yaki (Hisamatsu kiln) earthenware jar. The size is 8 gou (14.4 liters), with an inner diameter of approximately 28 cm, an outer diameter of approximately 33 cm, a height of approximately 29 cm, and a weight of approximately 8 kg. It is unused and therefore in pristine condition, with no scratches. I previously listed an Iwami-yaki jar, and this one is noticeably thicker and heavier in comparison. There is no lid. The color in the third photo is the closest to the actual color. Since it's unused, how about using it for pickling or for viewing medaka (Japanese rice fish)? By the way, the Hisamatsu kiln has already closed, so it will be difficult to obtain an unused one in the future.
