Gold paint is applied to the flowers and buds, though it is not very noticeable. ◆ This is an old piece, purchased by my mother about 40 years ago. Yesterday, while looking for something, I found the distinctive small characters of the 14th generation Kakiemon written on the lid of the original box. My mother is a busy person and never had time to make tea, so it has remained in the purchased condition. The purchase price is unknown. There are no cracks or chips. There is some color transfer on the underside of the lid. I previously listed a tea set by the 12th generation Kakiemon, and compared to that, this has a more delicate touch. ◆ Included...
