The "DOT" pendant light features a circular design using gray glass. The combination of matte parts and gray glass gives a sharp and elegant impression. When incorporated into a space with a calm tone, it looks like a hanging object. The light shining within the gray glass shade creates a slightly more subdued light compared to transparent glass, making the space feel more refined. The glass shade has few bubbles and is transparent even when viewed up close, giving a sense of high quality. Therefore, the light emitted from the light bulb does not have any patterns, creating beautiful light and shadows. Sometimes, even if you use a highly designed light bulb, its beauty can't be fully expressed because it's hidden by the shade. However, with a glass shade, you can maximize the design of the light bulb and enjoy the bulb as part of the interior. The socket and cord are unified in a matte black texture, which blends very well with the atmosphere of the gray glass. Also, the socket part curves so that it comes on the extension line of the glass shade's outline, creating a sense of unity between the shade and the socket cord. Glass-type shades do not block the light from the light bulb, so the light spreads not only downwards but also throughout the space. Walls and ceilings are also softly illuminated, so there are fewer dark, shadowed areas compared to general shades, making the space feel softer. Also, the way the light spreads and appears changes depending on the dust and dirt on the outside of the glass-type shade.
