The FOSTEX FR-2LE is a professional-grade portable field recorder. It supports linear PCM (BWF/WAV) recording up to 24bit/96kHz, enabling high-quality recording. Input terminals include XLR balanced (with phantom power) and standard phone (TRS), accommodating external microphones and line inputs. Furthermore, the unit also has a built-in stereo microphone. The recording media is a CompactFlash (CF) card, and the power source is either eight AA batteries or an AC adapter. Its lightweight and compact design makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, such as outdoor recording, interviews, and nature sound recording. This item has been used only about a dozen times mainly for indoor interviews and has been carefully stored, so it is in very clean condition overall. Both the operation and the LCD are in good working order, and photos of the LCD lighting up are also included, so you can consider purchasing with confidence. The included accessories are a 1GB CF card and a 4GB CF card, which were purchased separately, instead of the original 128MB CF card. Both CF cards have been tested and are fully functional for practical use. All accessories other than the original CF card are included. The original box, genuine AC adapter, shoulder strap, soft case, wired remote control, instruction manual, and warranty (expired) are also included. 【About the Instruction Manual】 The instruction manual booklet is included, but due to aging, some pages are detached from the spine (see photo 17).
