It features an accurate and responsive digital FL display for the output meter, an electronically controlled DC motor for drive, and an SX sendust head for the recording/playback head, achieving good frequency characteristics. It is equipped with a 4-position selector that can also use metal tapes and a Dolby NR circuit, as well as rewind auto-play, auto-stop, and timer standby functions. *Although recording and playback are possible, there is a slight problem with playback (see sound output below). The pause, rec, play, rew, ff, and stop operations are good, and the tape runs stably. The red lamp lights up during recording, and the input level adjustment with the knob and the liquid crystal display of the left and right channels are also good (photos 1-2).
