This is a basket I purchased about 10 years ago from an antique shop in Kyoto. It's painted black overall, and there are areas where the paint has peeled off over time, which gives it a wonderful, unique look. I used to decorate it with lace and artificial flowers, or put small stuffed animals in it, as shown in the pictures. It's very sturdy, with no damage or wobbling, and is tightly woven.
