This is a Matsutake-Ume Daruma from Shimousa toys, made by Setsutaro Matsumoto. It is approximately 12.5 cm tall and has red eyes with a strong gaze. Auspicious pine, bamboo, and plum designs are painted on its belly. It has a Shimousa label. There is some soiling. I am also listing various other folk crafts.
