Acquired from a Hungarian flea market in 2017. It's thin cotton, but has a crisp texture as if starched, and holds its shape nicely. The fabric surface is rough, with an uneven texture that gives it character. While no major stains were found, there are small spots and blemishes. (See images 6 and 7) The thread work on the back is also impressive. It would make a lovely interior piece for placing small items or displaying a small vase of seasonal flowers. This is a used item, so there is some wear and tear, but even small, it's a treasure that can warm the heart and enrich the soul.
