This is a set of a handmade kaishi (paper) case and a kashikiri (sweetmeat cutter) case. It can hold one book of kaishi for men. The kaishi case has two pockets, which are convenient for storing used kaishi or small items. The top lid does not have interfacing to preserve the texture of the fabric. Enjoy the rough texture and the feel of hand-printed dyeing. The plain parts are made firm by using thick twill fabric and thin interfacing. The fabric has been hand-washed before being made.
