This is a wooden shamisen called "Gottan," designated as a traditional craft of Miyazaki Prefecture. It was made by traditional craftsman Toshimi Kuroki and is made of cedar. This is a used item that has been stored at home for a long time. Also, as shown in the 6th image, there are some dents. I don't think it will affect the performance, but please be aware of this when purchasing. There is no dedicated box or stand. It will be packed with cushioning material and shipped.
