I kept these in a wooden box in my family's old storehouse. They were stored with plates from the Taisho era, so they are likely vintage items from over 100 years ago. Diameter: 20cm Height: 3cm Each plate is hand-painted, and each has its own unique sometsuke (blue and white) design. The white background, with blue, green, and pink, is vibrant yet understated, and will complement the food served on them. Because they have some depth, they might be good for dishes with a bit of sauce, like simmered dishes. There are no noticeable cracks, but there are some "furimono" (black spots from the firing process), scratches on the bottom, and one repaired chip on the bottom. I think they can be used without any problems, but please be aware of this.
