Japanese Tobacco Pouch with Kiseruzutsu (pipe case) from the late Edo/early Meiji period, c. 1840s-1880s The pouch is leather and has a nice metal clasp depicting a flying crane with a robed priest holding a scroll, with gold and silver inlays. The pipe case is wood covered with black urushi lacquer and shaped like bamboo, with a nickel silver top. A nice sagemono set in good used condition for the collector of Japanese antiques!
