Iwayado craft is created using the scraps from the production of "Iwayado Tansu," a traditional craft of Japan made in Iwate Prefecture. From the brand website: "We wanted to see if we could create something from the scraps, and we wanted many people to appreciate the charm of Iwayado Tansu... These works were born from that desire." The material used is paulownia wood. Paulownia is a soft material, so please do not press or bend it strongly.
