This is a set of two posters featuring Yu Yoshizawa (then "Yu," now "Hisashi," but with the same kanji) who was a young actor at the time, appearing in NTT DoCoMo Shikoku commercials when the now-nostalgic "P503i" mobile phone was released in 2001! During the time Yoshizawa Yu was in the commercials, there was also a radio program called "Yu Yoshizawa's YOU (playing on the "Yu") & iLand" sponsored by NTT DoCoMo Shikoku, broadcast on Friday nights (around 9:30 PM, I believe) on FM stations in Shikoku. It ran for two years! Back then, there was no Radiko or similar service, so the only way to listen reliably was to be in the Shikoku region on the broadcast day, or to be lucky enough to live in a prefecture where the signal could be received. Those who listened at the time (including myself) were listening to a surprisingly rare broadcast. It was quite rare for a young actor already active in the Kanto key stations to have a radio program exclusively for the Shikoku region. I'm sure there were similar regional programs in other areas as well. These are posters, slightly larger than the standard B2 size (around 50cm wide), at approximately B1 size (around 70cm wide). They were likely displayed in stores. I acquired these so long ago that I've forgotten exactly when, but I've kept them for a long time. I'm reluctantly putting them up for sale now. Back then, it was common for mobile phone companies to be divided by region, and even within DoCoMo, different celebrities appeared in commercials depending on the region. Therefore, posters from commercials that could only be seen (or featured) in that particular region are extremely rare! I doubt these will be available in good condition again, so if there are any fans of Yu Yoshizawa, please don't miss this opportunity! Regarding the condition, there is not much fading for something that is about 24 years old, and it appears to have relatively little deterioration.
