I received this as a celebration gift. They are beautiful individual plates with cherry blossom petals dancing on them. The material is plastic. Although I haven't used them, some of the plates have slight scratches from being stacked during storage in the cupboard. However, they are not very noticeable. Thank you for your understanding.
