This is a set of Seymour Duncan vintage staggered PU, the classic SSL-1 pickups (calibrated set that subtly increases output from front to rear, believed to be made in 2012), wired to a Fender Japan Stratocaster Hybrid II circuit and tortoiseshell pickguard (US size, 11 holes) from the 2020s, ready to use. A practical specification where the third knob works for the rear pickup as well as the center. To protect the switch and wiring, it will be shipped with cardboard protectors as shown in the photos, and further packaged in a bag and box. - Color: Tortoiseshell (some scratches and polishing marks, but no dents. Plastic parts are bright white) - Number of Pickups: 3 - Control Knobs: Master Volume, Front Tone, "Center & Rear Tone" *Originally CTS pots - Wiring: Pre-wired - Pickup Type: Single Coil It should be possible to install on Fender guitars, including US, Mexican, and the latest Japanese models, but please be aware that there may be individual and age-related differences in screw hole positions, so some modification may be required. I was able to install it directly on a 2000s US-made Fender HIGHWAY ONE, and it was quite comfortable (as it's a 22F fret-over-board instrument, I removed the neck once to replace the PG). Soldering in a few places, such as the wiring from the jack, is essential. For those who have a working environment, please understand that no returns or exchanges are accepted. It has a delicious sound from clean to crunch, and the rear tone, which shapes the high frequencies of the rear pickup that tend to be harsh, makes it a versatile assembly that can handle thick solos and distortion. I'm not in a hurry to sell it, and I'm considering reusing it on another Strat, so I may remove the listing if I find a use for it. For those looking for a slightly cleaner, more organized sound image from clean to crunch than vintage, good for cutting, and good for effects. There was no scratchiness at the time of removal. Regarding the tone, the large capacitor (photo) that is probably installed in MIJ guitars from around 2023 onwards seems to be doing a good job.
