Since it's RN19938, I believe it's a flannel shirt from the same brand as King Kole, etc. The classic red, white, and black color scheme with yellow checks gives a wonderful feel of the American atmosphere of the time. It has a wonderfully soft and supple fabric, all original flat buttons, a pocket with a flap, gussets, and a striped lining. The actual size is about a Large, so the size is also perfect.
