This is a manual typewriter. It's an old Dutch model, likely made about 50 to 60 years ago, and you can print by pressing the keys. If you intend to use it, you should replace the ink ribbon. I've included a photo of the printed result. The texture of the ink ribbon gives the printed characters a distinctive, manual typewriter feel. Note that the number 1 is represented by the lowercase "l" (L). Unlike a computer keyboard, you type with the force of your fingers, so it requires some finger strength. Being an old item, it probably doesn't have the same smooth feel it did when new. There is overall soiling. A case is included.
