Fujigaoka Prefectural High School in northern Kanto. Saori Takahashi, a member of the drama club, is about to enter her final year in the club. With her unique club members, Saori aims to pass the district preliminaries in the annual competition. However, with the encouragement of Ms. Yoshioka, a beautiful new teacher who studied drama at a university in Tokyo, they decide to aim for the national competition. Directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro, of the "Bayside Shakedown" series, the film depicts the youth of high school students dedicated to drama. Hana Kuroki from "The Little House" plays Ms. Yoshioka, and Tsuyoshi Muro plays Mr. Mizoguchi, the drama club advisor. The screenplay was written by Kohei Kiyasu of "The Kirishima Thing." ② Before the Curtain Rises Early summer 2014. In preparation for the filming of the movie "The Curtain Rises," the members (Kanako Momota, Shiori Tamai, Reni Takagi, Momoka Ariyasu, Ayaka Sasaki), who had almost no acting experience, underwent a workshop with Mr. Oriza Hirata, the author and director of the film, while leading extremely busy lives. They were thoroughly taught how to "act." While controlling their lines, movements, and emotions, they also had to be natural. The constant unfamiliarity was a battle with themselves. Despite their anxieties, the first day of filming arrived. Even though they usually perform in front of tens of thousands of spectators, they stood before a single camera under a different kind of tension.
