On the front, it says "Suishoen Supervision," on the back "Tatsunaka Hiroshi," and on the side, there is an engraving that appears to be "Shin-Shin-Ki (New Century?)", making it a very rare ink stick. My grandfather, who was a painter, kept it from the Taisho to early Showa periods, and it was passed down to my father when he took up ink painting as a hobby. I was told that it was considered "a very expensive ink stick" back then.
