Since it has basting stitches, I can't check the inside, but I don't think there are any noticeable stains. Please understand the smell of the chest of drawers (>_<) How about for remaking or repurposing? It's a navy blue fabric with blue? etc. woven into it. I will fold it up small and use recycled materials for packaging m(__)m
