This is a boxwood tailpiece. The appearance is as shown in the photos. There are dents, scratches, and scuffs from the strings and adjusters, but there are no cracks or other damage that would affect its use. The material and craftsmanship are good. The sound was also good. Please refer to the photos for the length. The longest part is approximately 11.4cm.
