【Mizudo Susanoo Shrine】 This shrine is located in Mizudo-cho, Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. The enshrined deity is Susanoo-no-Mikoto. The ceiling painting was created by Japanese painter Yasumasa Suzuki, with the intention of dedicating it to the deceased of the Mizudo Tumulus and the victims of the Great Hanshin Earthquake. The ceiling painting "Manyo no Hana" (completed in 1998) is painted on 165 cedar boards covering the entire 8m east-west and 4m north-south coffered ceiling.
