Cherry blossoms blooming in a tsubo-zaisai (a miniature garden in a pot), and women in gorgeous attire surrounding them. It is a piece that allows you to feel the gorgeous courtly atmosphere of twilight. The National Treasure "Genji Monogatari Emaki, Two Pictures of Takekawa" is considered the oldest existing artifact of "The Tale of Genji," produced in the 12th century during the Heian period. It is currently in the collection of the Tokugawa Art Museum in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.
