This is a ready-to-wear, slightly imperfect, Kyokuzame Edo Komon kimono. The kimono, woven with fine threads, is very light and nice, but it wrinkles easily. *This is a beautiful kimono with shitsuke (basting stitches) on the sleeves, but there is some slack as shown in the photos (on the front body and okumi). Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to imperfections. It is being offered at a bargain price. *To adjust the slack, you can sew the fabric of the slackened area at the position of the front lining, or adjust it during the dressing process. When dressing, gather the slack in a place where it can be hidden by the obi or koshihimo (waist cord), and try to stretch the wrinkles by pulling them out. This will make them less noticeable. *Yuki (sleeve length) adjustment for this kimono will be charged separately (¥3000).
