Due to variations in the graders' assessments or initial flaws, even cards that were just opened from a pack can be difficult to get a PSA 10. Cards with even slight imperfections on either the front or back often receive a PSA 6 or lower. While there are individual differences, PSA 7-9 grades are still considered to be in the "near mint" condition class. Also, PSA grading fees range from several thousand yen to tens of thousands of yen per card. However, the benefits of PSA authentication include: the cards are sealed in a special case, which maximizes protection against deterioration; it serves as proof of the card's authenticity; and it is recommended for collections or as interior decoration. The stand is for photography purposes only and is not included with the item. The item is stored in a crystal pack for careful preservation.
