This obi is a valuable total shibori (tie-dye) obi. It is gray in color and is in near-new condition, having been stored in a chest and hardly used. It's a beautiful obi. Because there are few craftsmen who make genuine silk total shibori, they are rarely produced. I confirmed with a kimono shop that an obi like this would cost over 300,000 yen.
